The Japanese game developer Sega has come up with a new rather unusual product. The company has created a toiletgame console that you can use to play games while using the restroom. Labourers work to earn a crust on May Day

While many people were enjoying their holiday on May Day, several less fortunate residents in Thanh Hoa City continued to earn a living in the scorching sun. National online conference on meeting citizens, solving complaints

A national online conference on meetings with citizens and settlement of complaints and denouncements was opened on May 2 under the chair of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. A report by the Government Inspector General Huynh Phong Tranh said there have been improvements in officials' sense of responsibility on guiding, leading and organising the implementation of tasks relating to solving complaints and denunciations. Public meetings between officials and citizens in provinces and cities have become regular activities with better results. More attention was paid to the completion of mechanisms and policies, contributing to limiting the number of complaints and increasing coordination between central and local agencies. There was also a rise in the rate of settled cases, according to the report. However, there are still shortcomings and weaknesses in the work, such as poor organisation of meetings between citizens and local officials, particularly at district level and low progress in settlement of cases. In the time to come, the Government Inspectorate said the main tasks are to create favourable conditions for citizens to exercise their rights to complaint and denunciations, and try to address as early as possible new complaints while completely resolving prolonged and urgent cases. The Government Inspectorate also proposed that the NA promptly promulgate laws on receiving citizens and on demonstration, to create a legal basis for solving cases abusing the right to complaints and denunciations to cause social disorders. General Giap’s book introduced in Italy

The second edition of the Italian language version of a book on revolutionary armed forces and building people's army, written by Gen. Vo Nguyen Giap has been introduced in the Italian city of Venice. As part of activities to mark the 37 th anniversary of the liberation of the south and national reunification, the event was jointly organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and the Italy – Vietnam Friendship Association in Veneto region (IVFA). Addressing the event, IVFA President Angelo Tomaselli Vladi praised the heroic Vietnamese nation's struggle for national liberation and reunification. He added the book spotlights outlook on people's war and the successful resistance war against foreign invaders. Nokia sells Vertu brand

The troubled Finnish communications company Nokia is trying to sell its luxury Vertu brand to other companies, sources close to the matter have said. Philips to launch dual-SIM smartphone

The Dutch electronics giant has been busy preparing a new smartphone that is expected to be commercially available in the next few weeks.
